That's crazy.

I've been thinking for a long time about what I want to do and who I want to be. Generally, I overthink it much too much, but nonetheless, I think we all go through this at one time or another.

I realized today that if you want to play with the big dogs, you have to play with the big dogs. And if you're going to invest in something, it might as well be yourself.

Meaning, at some point, if you want to do something, you kind of just have to do it. And if you're scared of taking a chance on yourself, you should probably rethink your strategy.

Some people say that following your dreams is crazy, but I would argue the exact opposite. We live in a universe so vast that no one even knows how far it goes, meaning, you don't really matter all that much. But really, meaning, that you matter the most.

I would argue that not following your dreams — that's crazy.

Because, it doesn't matter if you follow your dreams or not in the scheme of the entire universe. But it could matter here, for your neighbor, your friend, even the whole world depending.

And yes, you are so small, so you might as well be happy. You might as well try what you want to try. Yes, playing it safe is important at times, but in the end, you might as well have a hell of a good time, because no one gets out of here alive. And maybe, just maybe, your dream will make a difference.

Not following your dreams is utterly crazy.

Still scared?

Me too. But here's the thing, I believe in you.

You might not realize it, but the world believes in you. The world believes in your dreams, your goals, and your motives. People in your life believe in you, maybe not all, but I'm guessing most.

But, you will never reach your dreams until, not the dean of students, not the CEO of the company, not your mom, but YOU believe in you. Then and only then will you live the life of your dreams.

If you're going to take a chance on something, my friends, it may as well be yourself.

So don't hold yourself back by being crazy, because that's just crazy.
